Barney Google is a comic strip character first published in 1919. The series, known as both "Barney Google" and "Take Barney Google, For Instance" ran until... well, actually, it's still running! However, early strips can be a pain in yer rear to find. You would have to go sifting through newspapers from the 1920s to find certain strips. Even if you found a collection, it would likely be in a format that requires other applications to look at. I wanted to provide a quick and simple way you could read Barney Google comics. However, since strips are still under copyright, I will be only posting strips from the public domain. Currently, strips from 1919 - 1929 are in the public domain. They will be updated as more become public domain. This is a fan project, and has no ties to any publisher, author, or syndicator of Barney Google comics, past or present.
